Numerous instances of sand, gravel on highway (road works)

Sent to East Hertfordshire District Council and Hertfordshire County Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 697095.

Significant swathes of sand on the carriageway (around 67 Port Hill), especially on down hill sections. This is extremely hazardous to motorbikes (lethal in the dark). especially as it comes during and after temporary traffic lights when riders will be on the brakes or accelerating. Please ask the road crews to thoroughly sweep the roads after they finish for the day
