On the bend on Mill Lane

Reported via mobile in the Carriageway category anonymously at 17:29, Fri 10 January 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6961680.

This Lane has not been gritted and it was only a matter of time before there was a serious accident. The car is on its roof and the person/people are stiill in it. I hope they are nor serious but we are unable to even walk to help. The police and ambulance have arrived. The Lane is seriously neglected. There was a serious accident earlier in the year where a car ended up in the hedge. The road signs have never been reinstated leading onto the main road into Stoke. Signs all along the Lane are twisted because there is no control of over heavy vehicles drive down and knock into them. At both ends the weight limit signs are hidden. The lane used to be 20 mph limit ubtil the council changed it to 40mph. We did warn this would happen. Please grit, restore signs and contol the speed and weight limit. Someone will be killed.
