Light controlled pedestrian crossing road markings erased
Reported via mobile in the Other Road Issues category anonymously at 17:18, Wednesday 8 January 2025
Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6952880.
This crossing on a busy stretch of the Reading Road is in constant use. The road markings (zigzag lines) have all but disappeared. Motorists are abusing this by parking in front of the lights to go to Greggs, KFC or One Stop at busy times. Crossing the road is dangerous at the best of times as motorists often ignore the red light. Clear markings are essential at this busy crossing.
