GRIT BIN EMPTY - This grit bin is completely empty and has been for along time. This has not been replenished before the winter period as you are advising others. This should be a priority given the current weather conditions and the fact the streets are used by school children walking to and from school and parent trying to pick their children up. This should also be a high priority is you are not going to grit the road yourselves.

Thank you for your enquiry.
We re-stock all of our grit bins across the borough before the winter season starts as part of our preparation. We will only re-stock a second time following a prolonged and significant snow event and if resources will allow.
