The patch of road on the London Road as it runs past Bury Knowle Park has been flooding for years after rain: a large, deep pool of water collects, that drenches any pedestrian going past when a bus drives into it. Aged over 80, I have run to get past it when I see a clear moment in the traffic so as to avoid getting soaked.
