The HGV lorries turning left into Fyfield Road

Reported via mobile in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 20:24, Tuesday 7 January 2025

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6947780.

These vehicles are constantly driving over the kerb knocking over the warning posts and damaging the soakaway this in turn has blocked the soakaway drainage system and flooding the road up to the Tittymouse lane junction , the council staff have repaired this twice over the past few months but within a few hours there flat again , they need to repair the damage and stop HGV lorries turning left into Fyfield Road and instruct all these massive vehicles to continue to the roundabout at the Weyhill Police house and approach from the East and this will stop all these expensive temporary repairs that only last a matter of hours

  • Sadly it’s getting much worse due to the weather as once it rains the drain being blocked due to being crushed by these heavy vehicles this in turn floods the road not allowing pedestrians to cross the road safely without getting soaked feet , sorry to moan but it’s obviously a simple fix bot being carried out !!
