Cycle Path Is Dangerous

The cycle path which runs alongside Marsh Court and the Boxhill stream isn't wide enough for cyclists and pedestrians. I had to jump out of the way of a fast cyclist who wouldn't go on the grass and I slipped on the mud which was a very unpleasant experience and I could have easily been injured. The grass is dangerous to walk on as it is slippery and waterlogged. The path is used constantly by walkers and cyclists who both think they have the right to be there safely without going on the mud/grass. It is not safe to use. There needs to be a white line separating the walkers from the cyclists that can keep both parties a safe distance from one another. The path needs to be widened in order to do this to keep everyone safe. This path is used regularly by all ages including school children who need to be kept safe from all of these dangers and do not need to feel anxious whilst walking there. Cyclist need to be able to ride their bikes at a safe distance from any hazards and not have to cycle on slippery ground which could cause an injury to them or others. Please create a safe place for us to walk and cycle.

Timely report. It has been awful recently, recovered now somewhat I believe. I don’t think cycle/pedestrian line would help.
