Bad traffic light sequence

Sent to Milton Keynes Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6947065.

I can only assume someone has messed with the timings of the traffic lights on this roundabout over the Christmas period. It used to allow traffic to flow across the roundabout but it now stops traffic between the 2 set's of light, meaning traffic is stopped in the path of other traffic that have a green light, this new sequence now allows less traffic though on each Green and is causing massive queues at peak times.

Updates

  • Still not resolved, this roundabout with traffic lights has worked well for a long time but since Christmas week someone or something has changed in the light sequence that makes this probably the worst roundabout for miles, traffic simply dose not flow anymore and the queues are ridiculous.
