Huge flooding, which usually overtakes the entire lane

Reported via desktop in the Flooding on Road category anonymously at 13:34, Tuesday 7 January 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6945233.

There is a slight corner here, on the left hand lane (if facing B4027) where the road gets entirely overtaken by a huge puddle, some days the puddle only covers half the lane but on rainy days the whole lane can be covered. this causes drivers to swerve and enter the oncoming lane to avoid the deep puddle however this is round a bend so oncoming cars cannot be clearly seen. I have seen a couple of near miss collisions already. Icy conditions may cause it to be even more treacherous. issue has been there for over a year as i drive often on this route for work. only time this is not an issue is on a nice sunny day which is a rare occurrence in the UK....
