Poorly lit Traffic Bollard for school children crossing A6

Reported via mobile in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 13:05, Monday 6 January 2025

Sent to Stockport Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6938570.

Alders Road junction with Buxton Road (A6). Photos are Traffic Bollard during daylight hours & when it’s dark.bus stops are also situated on either side of this Rd / location, lots of school children use this crossing when getting on/off the buses. During winter months the Bollards are not well light & due to the A6 being very busy this is a risk to children having an accident when crossing. Could a zebra crossing be installed or further down the road junc with Carr Brow the traffic bollard has a lit pole which is better.
