At the junction of Fulshaw Park and the Knutsford Road
Reported via mobile in the Flooding category anonymously at 11:50, Mon 6 January 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6937864.
The road continually floods (we moved here in 2015)after heavy rain making the road impassable to pedestrians, even thought the drains on both sides are cleared of debris on a regular basis. It’s clear that the pipework between the drains and the main road are blocked. There are two drains either side of the junction in the main road and one on Donkey Lane that are always full of debris and blocked.

Thank you for your enquiry. As we are experiencing severe weather conditions, only emergency cases will be attended where there poses a risk to property, public safety or high-risk highways.
Gullies vary in the speed they can drain water away and some will overflow during heavy rain even if there is no blockage. This does not necessarily mean the gully requires cleaning, and in such cases the water will clear when the rain stops. We will not visit overflowing gullies during heavy rainfall unless the water is causing a risk to life or property.
If you would like to know more about how we manage gullies and drains, you can find information here:
