Large puddles
Reported via mobile in the Flooding on Road category by Brian Burton at 11:15, Mon 6 January 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6937541.
Large puddles which are always there after rain, see photo 1. Our summer house which is in photo 2, continually gets large sprays of water, from the puddle at the entrance to Henwood Drive. This has been a constant problem for years, and has been reported numerous times in the past. We have on the very odd occasion, been soaked when in the corner between the summer house and the fence. We are now very wary of this after rain. It would be good if someone could come and have a look after it’s been raining. Brian Burton

This water flows from further up. When it rains heavily, there is inadequate drainage and a small stream runs along the east edge of the road from the cumnor side. It starts on the cumnor side, the field side, of the house called The Chalet.
The water then pools in the lowest dip.
