Bollards needed on Slades Drive towards Edgebury Primary School
Reported via mobile in the Road Defect category anonymously at 09:02, Monday 6 January 2025
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6936271.
Since the Marjorie McClure school opened this road has been a nightmare every morning. I witness mini buses and taxis and cars mounting the pavement and driving along the pavement daily. This has been reported to the school and the council many times. The new pavement installed has also been damaged due to this. Please do not allow this to continue as it will result in a child walking to school being badly injured. We need bollards all along the narrower path or a one way system to be enforced.

The traffic engineering team have investigated this report and advise that the road width here is good, and that they would be looking to install any bollards that clutter the footway. If vehicles are observed parking on the footway, they should be reported for action by the enforcement team using the following link - www.bromley.gov.uk/ReportIncorrectParking
