B3053 Road Drain Blocked

This section of road is subject to flooding. There is a drain on the side of the road, but doesn't work. The road floods up to about 70% of the road. This is the third time I have reported the fault and still no action has been taken. The flood is on the busy B3053 road where there are currently numerous HGV's travelling to and from local gravel pits and Fawley Power Station. The flooding is at a local bus stop. It is also opposite Fawley Scholl and can affect parents crossing the road with young school children, some as young as four and a half. If the drain is cleared, it runs into a ditch wich is about a metre below road level, so it should drain the road. Please sort it out.

  • This issue has been fixed this week. The drain was checked during wet weather. The drain was running and no flooding occurred. Thankyou.
