Lighting in pedestrian tunnels

Lighting on floor of both pedestrian tunnels are not working properly - mainly due to build up of dirt in them, which makes the tunnels very dark and unsafe to walk through especially at night. This issue has been like this for as long as I have lived here (5 1/2 years). would be great if they actually worked properly. thanks.
