Drain causing flooding… again

Reported via mobile in the Flooding on Road category anonymously at 15:07, Sunday 5 January 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6933942.

This drain is not fit for purpose and when we have heavy rainfall this is what happens. Properties at the bottom of the hill (where my address is) are at serious risk of flood water damage due to this never being fixed. This was not a problem we experienced before Dene Close was built and this drain was installed. Every time I report this, it gets closed saying it is “resolved”. I’m not sure how this can possibly be closed, as it happens every time. I have further photos showing no excess water running down from the hill, the dirty flood water pooling at the bottom of Playhatch is purely caused by this particular Dene Close drain. Please can you investigate thoroughly before this causes damage to a property, or a road traffic accident. Thank you
