Flooding means the pedestrian crossing can't be used safely
Reported via mobile in the Flooding/Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 11:32, Sunday 5 January 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6932931.
Drain backs up in rain, drains away slowly over a day or so. It means that using the pedestrian crossing you have to step away from the crossing area out into the road. It's a bit dangerous as the crossing is around a blind corner to the traffic coming up the hill.
It's been reported before in 2023 but clearly the problem is still there, or has reoccurring. The thing is if you are slow to visit, it will have drained and look clear.

Once again today there is a huge lake of water here. The drain is still blocked. it is extremely hazardous to even appoach the crossing due to the risk of being drenched. This needs urgent attention.

Both drains completely blocked. Causing flooding issues during heavy rainfall. Right on pedestrian crossing.
