Very Dangerous Road surface (ice)

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6932696.

This road requires salted and is very dangerous for both pedestrians and vehicles. The street does not get natural sun, and causes the road to remain frozen. A number of accidents with vehicles have occurred over the past week.

  • During very cold weather this road does not receive any salt, as the sun does not shine on this road, the ice never seems to clear, until the temp rises above 3deg C

  • Now that we have that big yellow thing in the sky, ohhh yeeessss, that rare event when the sun comes out, normally on a Wednesday afternoon, when every one is stuck at work. The ice has disappeared. Now come November, there is a very high chance this may return, as global warming no longer affects Pollok
