Fallen tree across the path

Reported via desktop in the Trees category by Ian Lycett at 16:06, Tue 31 December 2024

Sent to Reading Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6916152.

The fallen tree is across the path, forcing anyone to duck underneath. It appears to be stable at the moment but the full weight is resting entirely on its own branches, so when it eventually rots the weight could suddenly shift, possibly causing injury. It seems preferable to deal with it before this happens.

I might have picked the wrong map location, but the path in question can be found by heading down circuit lane into the Holybrook flood plain, crossing the foot bridge by the Southcote lock-cottage followed by the bridge immediately after, then turning right.
