Large rut immediately after busy ASL

Reported via Android in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 16:50, Mon 30 December 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6912297.

The large rut here is immediately after the bike box, on the right hand side of the lane. This box is frequently full with cyclists, with speedy buses behind them, and frankly , someone will come off their bike here as the rut is deceptively big. The whole road rrom the Plain to Carfax is pitted with sunken manhole covers - some of these are marked for attention but not all. I wonder if someone could give attention to these too. Many thanks

  • Hi - This rut has been re-paint-marked but as of 1600h 9th Jan 25 it has not been repaired as pictured. TBH the patch on the other side of the ped refuge looks like its going to need some further repairs soon too. Thanks
