We have investigated this report and assessed the issue is not the responsibility of Bromley Council. This could be because the location or asset is private property, an unadopted road or beyond the maintained extent of a road. We are unable to progress this report further and this report will be closed. Please note that Bromley do not hold records of private ownership but if the information has been registered, the ownership of private land may be found via a land registry search: https://www.gov.uk/ government/ organisations/ land-registry

These are LBB bins as they have LBB stickers/markings on them. You have cleared litter and rubbish from around these bins previously - please clean up around them again.

The bins are provided by LBB but are sited on private land and responsibility for clearing this area would sit with the land owner in the first instance.

Thank you for your report. Accumulations of bagged or bulky waste not placed in the provided containers remain the Landowner's responsibility to clear. The same applies to loose litter and detritus built up on the privately owned land or around the bin area. Should loose waste cause a broader littering issue of the public highway, then LBB will seek to mitigate this by sweeping the area as a preventative measure; however, the Landowner will still be engaged by Neighbourhood Management to be reminded of their responsibility with formal enforcement proceedings considered. In the event of any built up or dumped bulky items up waste forming an accumulation that becomes a concern, this can also be reported to EHTS.customer@bromley.gov.uk for our Public Protection Team to investigate and engage the Landowner. The location will be inspected this week and the next course of action put forward as outlined above, depending on the situation with any waste or litter in situ. Kind regards. LBB Senior Neighbourhood Officer (Waste)
