18 inch long and 6 inch deep pothole on eastern side of New Yatt Road between New Yatt village and Witney.

Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 13:42, Fri 27 December 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6901853.

This pothole has been here for weeks and is getting deeper. It’s on the LHS of the road, where cyclists ride and, if there was a vehicle coming towards them, they would have no way of escaping it. My husband was badly injured last year when he was cycling further up the same road. He was forced by passing traffic into the verge, hit a pothole and needed an operation to mend a badly broken collarbone. The same thing could very easily happen with this pothole.
