Pedestrian crossing with no signs or island

Reported via mobile in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 14:30, Wed 25 December 2024

Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6898207.

There is a footpath crossing by Snowdrop Lane across Haywards Heath Road (A272). This part of the road is fast. Children use this crossing to walk school or the bus stop. The footpath ends so pedestrians need to cross the road to where the path continues. There are no signs for cars warning of a crossing or any island in the middle of the road to slow cars to make the crossing visable.

It needs to be made safer.
