The stream that runs parallel with Bollington lane has been blocked in this location( and also further down) for some time. Water spills out and runs down Bollington lane causing damage to the highway ( at least part of which is adopted). It is especially bad in cold conditions with ice forming causing a danger for road users. I am very surprised your highway inspectors have not spotted this and acted upon it. I know the stream clearance does not rest with the Council, but can you find out who the owner and responsible parties are and ask them to clear the blockage(s) please. I presume the council can ask to remedy this and recharge the owner if they don’t act? Thanks

We have arranged for jetting work to be carried out. At this present time, we are unable to indicate a timescale for these works, until the necessary funding and resource becomes available.
