Nantwich road junction with Brynlow, and under Aqueduct

Reported via mobile in the Carriageway category anonymously at 09:29, Sun 22 December 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6889906.

Severe flooding extended across the e tire carriageway for around 100yards, also under the aqueduct. Cars are hitting at speed as come around the corner from Middlewich. Some are turning round as you can't tell how deep it is. Road needs closing. Drains blocked need clearing and leaks need sorting. This is a quick fix to prevent accidents but the water will now also be damaging the road surface so will cost more in the long run.
