Overgrown trees/hedges from public pathway now covering parking spaces.

Reported via mobile in the Car parks (only council run ones) category anonymously at 15:33, Sat 21 December 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Cherwell District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6888930.

I have recently taken over the care of my late father’s property - 44 Avocet Way in Langford Village, and I’ve noticed several issues in the car port for the residents that require attention. 1. Overgrown Hedges and Trees: The hedges and trees along the public walkways behind the houses have grown significantly into the car park. In particular, they are encroaching on my father’s and others two parking spaces, with one space now half obstructed. These overgrown areas need trimming back to the boundary fence. While I understand that maintenance within my father’s garden is my responsibility, I believe the car park itself falls under the council’s remit. 2. Fading White Lines and Numbers: The white lines and numbers designating the parking spaces have significantly faded and are no longer clearly visible. Repainting these would improve usability and organisation for all residents. Could you please confirm if this falls under the council’s responsibility? If not, I would appreciate it if you could direct me to the appropriate department or individual to contact. Thank you for your time and assistance. Please let me know if you require any further details or if you would like any more photographs of the issues described, as I could only attach 3.
