Missing road sign and road markings

Reported via mobile in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 21:31, Fri 20 December 2024

Sent to Liverpool City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6887364.

On A562 junction of mackets lane after shell garage, the road is two lanes , inside lane is turn left only and outside lane is continue in A562. The road sign is missing and road markings are faded, this is causing cars on inside lane ( left turn only) causing cars to break suddenly because they are forcing thru onto the outside lane. This is made worse during peak hours.as the road goes from 2 lanes to 1 imediatly at the traffic lights this causes many near misses and I myself have had a few in past few days.

Updates

  • Still many near misses with other cars due to faded road markings and missing signs, do we have to have a serious accident before this major fault is fixed??.
