Badly parked cars on the grass

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 10:34, Sun 13 September 2015

Sent to Oxford City Council 1 minute later

Windsor Crescent is a small crescent with only 7 house and a beautiful green. Unfortunately people park on the green even when ample parking space is available around the place. Each house has allocated parking within the boundaries as well as on the road. Yet people park on the grass which is maintained at a significant cost to the council. The council needs to make sure people stop this practice. Thank you.

  • While the number of people parking on the meadow grass has reduced, there is still one resident whose visitors park badly and all over the grass with our any care. Especially when there is a party in the house, which is frequently the case. Can the council please some more trees/ shrubs perhaps along the edge so people are unable to abuse the meadow?

  • I think it was a good idea to report the problem on FixMyStreet website. It raiseb awareness to the issue of people parking without thinking and destoying nature. Even though there are always some uncaring persons who break rules but most people have started taking care. The grass quality is improving gradually and hopefully will continue to get better..
