Overgrown bush and mud causing obstruction to turning point

Reported via desktop in the Obstruction blocking access category anonymously at 10:18, Fri 20 December 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6884353.

The turning point between 17 and 18 Henrietta Street has been uncared for for a long time leading to the bush and tree next to number 17 becoming overgrown and uncared for. This has in turn caused fly-tipping and a build up of mud/debris to accumulate in the turning point. The obstruction is now causing limited access to the turning point meaning that vehicles are finding it hard to turn around, this in turn is causing them to damage parked vehicles whilst maneuvering.

  • This issue has got much worse. The fence has now completely fallen down meaning people can gain access to the land behind making it a security issue for those living in the surrounding area and making fly tipping more easy. The turning point clearing and the fence needs replacing as it is on council land.

  • Local vagrants have now started defecating on the turning point and the grass next to it. There are at least 4 large piles of human faeces. It is disgusting and unsanitary. Because the council won’t clear the area it has literally become a dumping ground for all sorts of ‘crapp’.
