  • Car oncoming and I couldn’t avoid this massive pothole. Burst tyre! There are actual 2 holes.

Posted by Justin Wood at 13:37, Sunday 2 February 2025

  • This hole burst my daughter's tyre on 28th January at 11.30 at night. Very dangerous and unsatisfactory that a woman has to deal with this on their own in a rural location with no mobile signal. Dangerous in terms of vehicle tyre blow out and personal safety. As of 11th February it is still there. It is at least 6" deep with steep walls and when full of water completely hidden. Furthermore there are numerous puddles/potholes between Cowlease Woods and Christmas Common which also need attention but no footpath/parking available to safely mark and photograph. At least two wrecked tyres reported.
