Dangerously damaged footpath

Reported via mobile in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 12:42, Mon 16 December 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6867542.

The footpath is dangerously damaged by what looks like root damage. It is extremely raised and in the dark dangerous to walk on. Iโ€™m not a wheelchair or stick user but think it would be very hazardous to traverse for them. It progressively got worse over a long time but now at a point it needs rectifying.

Council ref: ENQ241027974

  • The trees presumably causing the damage are in the process of being removed/cut down, so presumably the path etc will be repaired afterwards ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

  • The issue regarding the pavement still remains, it has got hugely worse and itโ€™s a risk to or pedestrian cyclist Elderly and children, the issue why the pavement has got damage has been rectified as a large tree has now been cut down.
