Dropped kerb at King George's Close
Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 22:51, Mon 7 September 2015
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 686457.
Currently the entrance to King George's Close off Church Street has a semi dropped kerb. I.e. A kerb of about 75mm tall. This is too tall for one of the residents to negotiate with his motorised wheelchair. It is in danger of tipping over when crossing the kerb. This issue is a serious safety matter and whilst it is not a repair issue it does warrant urgent attention on safety grounds. I believe the parish council is happy to support the installation of a fully dropped kerb.

CBC say it is not heir problem as it is at the entrance to a private development of several houses. They say there are other dropped kerbs for disabled persons in mobility scooters elsewhere.
