This needs addressing urgently - how can the council say that has been scheduled for sorting 4 months ago when nothing has been done?! I'll also be writing to our local MP - Esther McVey as this has been an issue for over 6 months. I'm repeating the message already sent by another concerned motorist: This pothole is dangerous and has been a problem for some time. The corner of the grid is exposed because there’s a hole in the road. The hole fills with water and makes it impossible to see the hole or the exposed grid. The road is narrow so if there’s oncoming traffic it’s impossible to drive around it. The only option (if you know about it) is to stop which is also an accident waiting to happen. Going over the hole will damage the tyre (I know of 4 incidents) on the exposed grid.
