Reported via mobile in the Lamp Column Damaged category anonymously at 21:24, Fri 13 December 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6860124.
The street lights is causing a nuisance by lighting up our bedroom. The previous light had a shroud fitted to the front to stop this, the new light was originally reported as an issue and for some reason a shroud was fitted to the rear of the light which was painted black. This light is still causing a nuisance and needs to have a shroud fitted to the road side of the lamp to stop it lighting our bedroom up.

Thank you for your enquiry. The council has installed a rear shield, a front shield and changed the angle of the lantern to point further away from the property, unfortunately there is nothing else the council could do without affecting the lighting for the road.
