Broken steps to street
Reported via mobile in the Pavement and road repairs category anonymously at 09:39, Fri 13 December 2024
Sent to Brighton and Hove City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6857068.
I reported these steps 3 months ago. They are badly broken and represent a dangerous trip/fall hazard. My 94yo visually impaired father uses these steps when we pick him up or drop him off and now he has to use the nearby car ramp which is an extreme risk in winter. These must be fixed urgently.

These steps are outside my 94yo Dads house. He had an accident falling into the road and cutting his head badly resulting in him being hospitalised. I reported these steps months ago. Last time I was down in Brighton at the beginning of January they were still NOT fixed.

These steps near to my 94yo Dad’s house have been badly broken for more than 4 months, and despite being reported nothing has been done about it.

It appears the council won’t do anything until my 94yo dad falls down these derelict steps and dies! 😡
