St George's Churchyard 5 lights not working

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6854766.

Bromley council is responsible for St George's Churchyard. There are 5 'street lights' currently not working in the churchyard at the back of the church nearest Beckenham green. This makes the churchyard dangerous at night. We are very busy at the moment with evening services so please can you help.

  • The light near the back entrance to the church (north side) is still not working - very dangerous. The path from near the bench to the High Street is in complete datrkness after dusk. The label on the lamp post is : F 62 5.

  • The reported issue is one that comes under the responsibility of our Property Maintenance Team who look after the wider Bromley Estate. The report has been referred onto the Property Maintenance Team for consideration and inclusion in their ongoing Maintenance Works Schedule. Any required works will be subject to the priorities across the Bromley Estate and while we are unable to provide a timeframe it will remain on our list of requested tasks to be monitored until completion. This report is now closed on FixMyStreet.

  • This problem is not closed and remains a security risk for the church personnel and those using the church every day for example the children and parents walking through the churchyard on the way to school. We do need your help with this matter.
