Street light not working

Sent to Bury Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6846416.

Street light no. 6 in passageway between Marle Croft and Lower Croft is not working correctly. Just flashing.

  • I noticed the council fixing other street lamps nearby and assumed they were doing them all in one visit. However they didn’t do the lamp I had reported as not working.

  • It’s a sodium vapour lamp in a public passageway so is different from all the others that are LED’s. Maybe Bury Council no longer carry any spares. Perhaps they should change the complete lamp as the dark passage could be a source of danger for pedestrians.
