Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6844076.
Drainage shaft in footway collapsed yesterday - caller fell when his foot went into it. There is now a huge open hole in the footway - approx 1.5metres deep / 50cm wide. A lot of elderly live in this area - this needs to be made safe urgently. Contacted Water Company at 1pm yesterday - they said they would go out to look but no-one has attended yet. Resident has used his bins and tape to cordon it off but needs to be made safe properly and we need to establish if it is actually the water company's responsibility. A child could fall into the hole its that big - barriers required asap and definitely before it gets dark
