Investigating
Water runoff/flooding at junction of Milestone Lane & B430
Reported via desktop in the Flooding on Road category anonymously at 11:37, Tue 10 December 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6843735.
There is a water runoff on corner of Milestone Lane & B430 which is causing water runoff onto the highway, particularly causing a problem when raining heavily as runs all down B430 and into neighbouring property causing it to be nearly flooded in September 24. This was reported to Thames Water but they visited the site to investigate and found no Thames Water assets there and said that Highway authority should deal with it. The adjacent new housing development has a drainage system on the corner and the ground between that and B430 is waterlogged so there is possibly some issue there.
Many thanks for taking a look (PC).

The amount of water on the road and now the pavement has increased significantly since this was last reported. The pavement is also dangerous to walk on as we have now had lower temperatures and today it was ice and will get worse as the weather gets colder

This issue is still unresolved. Following overnight temperatures of -5°C the roadway was left iced for a stretch of approx 100m. It's a miracle that no biker came off there.
