Junction of Brynlow Drive and Nantwich road

Reported via mobile in the Flooding category anonymously at 10:48, Sat 7 December 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6830527.

Grids blocked again. Flooding extended across both sides of the road. Road was draining fine all week even in heavy rain. There has been a long standing leak from a couple of manhole just before the aqueduct and just after, water is running like a stream down the hill and gathering at the bottom to flood because it can't drain as it has also washed debris down. Added to this grids on Brynlow drive further up are blocked so water runs down hill to gather at the bottom. Previously reported over the past few years but still not resolved. It's a quick fix that could save lives should a car crash occur.
