Hedge rows on grass borders (same side as eastfield close) near public footpaths are never cut back and are getting out of hand

Reported via desktop anonymously at 21:34, Fri 6 December 2024

Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6829498.

The hedge rows on the grass borders next to the public footpaths are out of control and never cut back. They are the reason why people think it is ok to keep throwing their rubbish there. There are bottles and cans and plastic food containers bin liners and umbrellas thrown among the overgrown bushes and hedges. I can only mark one spot on this report but all along horsepath drittway on the same side as east filed close we have a real problem and I cant see why these hedges/bushes are never touched.

  • 16/12/24 13.06 I went to check that the rubbish had been cleared and sadly it has not been and infact there is more rubbish in addition to what was there when it was first reported the area I am referring to is on the same side as east field and just before the aldi is reached in the hedgerows and bushes I was going to take some photos to prove the rubbish is still there but then you will see that for yourselves if you went out anyway
