Road markings on dual carriageway faded

Reported via iOS in the Road Markings category anonymously at 17:28, Fri 6 December 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6828964.

The road markings on the carriageway on the A44 coming from the direction of Woodstock have badly faded and drivers are using the right hand lane as an exit from the roundabout to go straight over towards Oxford. I had a near miss this morning when a driver sped up on the approach to the roundabout using the right hand lane and if I hadn’t slowed down she would have hit me as I was exiting the roundabout. Maybe reducing the speed limit to 40 on the approach to the roundabout, in the same way there is a 40 limit as you approach the Turnpike roundabout further on towards Oxford might deter drivers from speeding up
