  • 10 Dec - The hole is now dangerously large/deep. Cars avoiding the hole swerve into oncoming traffic in tight congested area. This needs fixing asap.

  • Its still a hole. Cyclists and vehicles are swerving to avoid this. On the other side of the road there's a matching pothole so everyone goes for the middle. An accident waiting to happen.

  • Pot hole still there

  • This is very very dangerous esp on such a busy road and will cause an accident and/or a tire blow out. There is currently construction on the other side of the road and it is very narrow impossible to swerve and buses and cars need to suddenly slow down to a crawling pace to avoid. I see it was first reported in December. 3 months later nothing has been done!

  • This needs a proper solution. Reinforced concrete or steel is the only solution to the buses and lorries which must track over it as the carriageway is narrow at this point.

Alternatively set the drain into the kerb stones (as elsewhere on the Woodstock Road) and remove this weak spot completely.

This defect is extremely dangerous and it is a disgrace that it has already been 3 months since first reported.
