Updates

  • I am a concerned resident.the free is being taken down for no good reason. The ward councillors have understandably I guess, because yielded to a handful of complaints about a temporary lane closure to fix a footbridge attached to the road bridge. So £2m is being spent to put a temporary footbridge. Residents might be persuaded to accept a temporary lane closure on the bridge if the council offered to give the residents enough money to buy the Methodist hall - saving the £2m.The council sold the civic hall off for about £600k because they couldn’t afford to fix it , they did not maintain the building and it became unsafe and became too expensive to fix
