Dangerous debris on road surface

Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category by Pat Pearce at 18:08, Thu 5 December 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6824590.

The likelihood of cyclists and vehicles skidding on the silt which has been washed down Park Lane is VERY HIGH. An accident could easily happen with the individual skidding into the B480 at the junction having been unable to stop due to the unsafe road surface. Please could you clear the debris AND dig out the grips at the top of Park Lane near to Maidensgrove Common.

Council ref: ENQ241026461

  • This was reported on 23rd November 202 3 - over a year ago. Parishioners are becoming increasingly concerned at the lack of action to clear this debris. Car windscreens are suffering, as well as cyclists. The loose surface is EXTREMELY dangerous. This is not purely a job for a sweeper - the surface itself needs attention to remove the 'rubble'. Please would you attend urgently.
