Flooding outside special needs school

Reported via desktop in the Blocked Drain / Gully category anonymously at 16:07, Thu 5 December 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6824095.

Road has been severely flooded since Storm Bert' 23rd November and has not receded at all since then. It has further increased with the light rain we had overnight (4th December). So far we have had 2 school transport vehicles breakdown as a result of entering the school through flood water, 1 school minibus damaged trying to avoid the deepest part of the water today and a staff vehicle suffer underside damage from debris hidden by the water. The water is increasing not draining and has been an ongoing issue on and off for months. It is now at its worst and we are about to have further rain. This is the sole entrance to a special needs school and we would appreciate if someone could come out and investigate urgently. If you need more information please contact us.
