Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6821386.
The temporary fix that was applied to this pothole that had corners of ironwork exposed, has failed quite dramatically.
Needs urgent attention.

This was covered again briefly, but it's failed again within the space of about a week.
It seems like a different, long term solution is required.
Several accidents on this corner in the past, probably due to people swerving to avoid the exposed ironworks.

It's now actually worse than ever with a big, sharp piece sticking up. Depth is 6 to 10 inches.
I've just watch every car coming along the road swerve around it to the middle of the road.

Repair breaking up already. The drain cover / drain surround obviously need repairing. Just putting tarmac on top works for a while but the ‘movement’ of the drain soon breaks up any repair. Needs repairing properly otherwise just keeps recurring.

This fix lasted a few weeks when there was minimal traffic over the Christmas period. Now normal traffic has resumed it has completely failed again.
Furthermore pieces from all of the previous fixes are scattered across the path and lawn adjacent.
When will a proper fix be implemented? There have been several accidents on this corner in the past and it needs sorting asap as it's very dangerous.

Very large deep pothole; it's difficult to see until the last minute due to the bend in the road. Only a matter of time before there's a head-on collision as a driver swerves to avoid it... Please fix urgently

The temporary fix was applied on 9th Jan and has fully failed today, 14th Jan.
Pieces of tarmac are all over the road and path making it more dangerous as cars and huge tankers not only swerving to avoid the pothole but also big rock-like pieces of tarmac.
This is an accident waiting to happen.
The temporary fixes clearly aren't fit for purpose and a proper, long term fix is required before someone is seriously injured or worse.
This needs to be escalated to the highest levels asap.
