No vehicles sign incorrectly aligned.

Reported via Android in the Road signage category anonymously at 08:18, Wed 4 December 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6816823.

The sign prohibiting motor vehicles from using the cycle only access between Brent Road and Muller Road is at right angles to its correct position. This may have occurred when your contractor ETM was on site for remedial works last week. They haven't finished yet so please ensure that the sign is moved back when they return.

  • No action at all on this. A similar sign just down the road has also been aligned this way which leads me to think it may have been deliberate. It's still wrong though. The problem we have is drivers joining Muller Road from Brent Road illegally. The sign is not visible from that direction.

  • I can't believe this was reported six weeks ago and STILL hasn't been sorted. Meanwhile, delivery vans continue to put pedestrians and cyclists at risk by driving through the (incorrectly built) cycle lane. Please just get someone to come and turn the sign round 90 degrees - it'll take 10 seconds!
