Badly breaking up road surfaces.

Reported via mobile in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 08:45, Tue 3 December 2024

Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6812340.

The road surface is badly breaking up on the bend of the road. This is more noticeable in the direction of entering the village of Watlington. There are parts of the surface that are crumbled to a point that you can feel when braking or cornering. This is dangerous for people on motorcycles. This bend is totally unlit so is hard to pick your way around in the dark and this area is poorly drained.

Updates

  • Slowly getting worse. Not being helped by all the heavy lorries travelling through the village.

  • This has progressively gotten worse during the winter. It is an unlit corner and the loose surface moves when braking especially on a motorbike.
