Bridge lifted off footings in flood, has come back down crooked

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction on road or pavement category anonymously at 19:02, Mon 2 December 2024

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6811184.

The footbridge was lifted by the recent flood. It’s come back down in a slightly different position and has a bit of a twist.

It now requires quite a step up, and the minimal grip tape isn’t really sufficient. This would be a risk to anyone with accessibility needs.
